We are an award-winning vintage country & folk band based in East Tennessee. We play a heartfelt brand of music informed by what we love— bluegrass and country music, and the landscapes that we grew up in.
We hope that when you listen to us, you enjoy our old time-y rhythms and the lovely crooning of Hannah Madison, duet singing and mandolin-ing provided by her twin sister Emily Roper, and the incredible bass stylings of Katelynn Bohn.
We provide a high energy show with our wit and authenticity, and can’t wait to share our music with you!
Hannah spends her days tending to her burgeoning sourdough colony, canning jellies, and dreaming of a homestead future. She’s our fearless leader and fronts the group with charm and grace. She’s a great resource if you want to learn about phrasing, tone, or botulism!
Mandolinist and the "sister harmony" part of the duet, Emily also enjoys baking, crafting, and stressing about her houseplants! Her harmony singing is influenced by the long tradition of sibling harmonies, like the Louvin and the Monroe brothers.
Mother to the sweetest cat, master arranger, and leather worker extraordinaire, Katelynn provides a bass approach influenced by her jazz and bluegrass country roots, as well as her passion for being creative. You can find her petting cats, working leather, playing Zelda, or laying down smooth beats.
